"911"Development & Working Mechanism:

For a pickling enterprise , the main task for picklingprocedure is to remove the rust or oxide skin from the surfaceof the iron & steel work piece , so as to expose theferrite part of the work piece for the processing in nextprocedure . The main reaction is as follows:

Hydrochloric acid

FeO+2HCl=FeCl2+H2O

Fe2O3+6HCl=2FeCl3+3H2O

Fe2O4+8HCl=FeCl2+2FeCl3+4H2O

Fe+2HCl=FeCl2+H2

Sulfuric acid

FeO+H2SO4=FeSO4+H2O

Fe2O3+3H2SO4=Fe2(SO4)3+3H2O

Fe3O4+4H2SO4=FeSO4+Fe2(SO4)3+4H2O

Fe+H2SO4=FeSO4+H2
